HIGHLAND SURGICAL RESEARCH FACILITY

The Highland Surgical Research Facility is funded by NHS Highland and has 3 surgical research fellows and a fulltime research nurse.  The facility collaborates with Universities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Stirling, Highlands & Islands and Manchester.  

Research is been carried out in metabolomics and biomarker discovery in human disease and inflamatory bowel disease.
