CLINICAL SKILLS CENTRE
The Clinical Skills Centre is a specially designed unit for the teaching and training of all professionals using state of the art simulation technology.
The Clinical Skills Centre is a key component of the healthcare teaching and training group in the Centre for Health Science. The facility is headed up by a Clinical Lead and clinical tutors from NHS Highland, University of Aberdeen and University of Stirling teach in the unit.
Highlights of the Clinical Skills Centre include a 4 bed mock ward and a practical skills laboratory which include video conferencing and CCTV recording equipment used for training purposes. Skills such as resuscitation, interview techniques, surgical procedures and midwifery will be learned in a safe but realistic environment.
