Public Open Day

As part of the week of events to celebrate the Official Completion of the Centre for Health Science a public open day was held on Tuesday 20th January 2009.

The purpose of the event was to showcase the Centre for Health Science and the activities that take place within it.

The day comprised exhibition stands by key tenants in the 'street' area as well as showcasing the Clinical Skills Centre, IT in Dentistry and the artworks within the centre.  A series of workshops, practical demonstrations, presentations and guided tours were on offer.

By all accounts the day was a great success, attracting a wide range of people; from school pupils, health professionals to the lay public and media.
