Multipurpose Room

The Multipurpose Room is located on the first floor of the Centre for Health Science and, as its name suggests, can be used for a wide range of events including meetings, small lectures, tea / coffee breaks, lunches, small exhibitions and receptions.

The outer wall of this room is all window and looks out over local parkland. There is a large retractable folding door which can be opened to accomodate larger numbers and take advantage of the breakout area outside. 

Videoconferencing is also available in this room.  There is a PC in the room which has all the necessary software including Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.

The Multipurpose Room is often used along with the Auditorium or Lecture Theatre to provide a space to serve catering for conferences and symposia.

Adjacent to the Multipurpose Room is a small kitchen which is available for the use of external caterers, if required.

Boardroom layout - up to 26
Lecture layout - up to 40

This room is typically booked alongside the Lecture Theatre or Auditorium as a breakout space or for catering as part of large events / conferences.
